John W. Kessler | 2013

Perhaps no other persons with the exception of the Wexners, is responsible for developing New Albany into a highly acclaimed community more than Jack Kessler.  He is chairman of The New Albany Company and was the founder, past chair and emeritus trustee of the New Albany Community Foundation. Before New Albany was planned and developed, Kessler saw its potential to reimagine what a model American community could be.  He helped  college friend, Les Wexner, put together a team of world class planners to plan the community. Then Kessler applied his relationships and development expertise to develop not only a beautiful community, but also a caring, friendly, collaborative community and an outstanding school district.
