Angela Douglas | 2020

Angela Douglas, winner of the 2020 McCoy Award for community service seated in back of an open food delivery truck with her two young sons. Executive Director of Healthy New Albany Angela Douglas has been devoted to helping others and promoting health and wellness for area residents since becoming involved with the Village Coalition Against Hunger in 2013. She founded and directed the New Albany Food Pantry and directed operations of Healthy New Albany before following Dr. Phil Heit as its executive director. Angela inspires others to service. She introduced drive-up farmers markets and new programming, including Senior Connections and Integrative Health Classes, to help navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.
