Through the generous support of hundreds of Foundation donors, students from across central Ohio have the opportunity to interact with some of the most influential thought leaders of our time. To date, more than 14,000 students have interacted with accomplished leaders such as Condoleezza Rice, Walter Isaacson, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Peggy Noonan, Valerie Jarrett, David McCullough, Doris Kearns Goodwin, David Petraeus and more.

“I think that events like The Jefferson Series are more than beneficial, they are necessary. We all come from small communities or even big communities where we can tend to be sheltered. And I think to open our eyes to the other things in the world and broaden our perspectives leads to a more civically-engaged and well-rounded community.”

– Kathryn Selfe, Licking Valley High School Senior (Attended the student interaction of the New Albany Center for Civil Discourse and Debate program of The Jefferson Series featuring Newt Gingrich and Valerie Jarrett, January 2020)
